Join us for the Chief Warren Horst Memorial Shotgun Competition and BBQ! Enjoy the outdoors and the thrill of competition, while helping to benefit two great causes: The Suffolk County Volunteer Firefighters Burn Center and the Firefighter Cancer Awareness and Mentoring of New York State!

Come together for a memorable day of camaraderie and friendly competition! Take part in the tournament, enjoy the thrill of the sport, enter raffles for great prizes, and savor mouthwatering BBQ!

What do I need to participate?

You will need to bring a shotgun. As well as, ammunition, hearing, and eye protection. Everything but the shotgun are available for purchase at the proshop. 

Do I need to be experienced?

NO! While this is a scored event and trophies are awarded, This event is open to all who wish to support the the Suffolk County Volunteer Firefighters Burn Center, Firefighter Cancer Awareness and Mentoring of New York State, and the Fire Marshals Association of Suffolk County. 

Who does this event benefit?

This annual event benefits the Fire Marshals Association of Suffolk County. Also a portion of the proceeds are donated to the Suffolk County Volunteer Firefighters Burn Center Fund and the Firefighter Cancer Awareness and Mentoring of New York State.

How many people can be on a team?

Teams can be up to 5 shooters. You are invited and encouraged to field multiple teams, though any one agency is limited to a max of 5 teams. Single shooters or teams less than 5 will be merged together.

YES! You can support our event with a sponsorship, donation or by purchasing a raffle ticket.

Are Corporate sponsorships available?
